Adam passed away January 31st, his funeral was February 1st in Rosh Pina.

Hi everybody ,Its being a long time since I've written in my blog , so what is new on a personal note I'm living at home and not at the nursing home where I spent two months it is much better with my wife Gal looking after me. What is up with Smamit ? In october we decided to close the workshop it was costing a lot in rent and me being unable to work it made no secene to keep it open now this was a huge job the workshop has being in the old customs house since june 1997 and has gathered a lot of gear, packs ,fabrics ,machines etc so we had to decide what to do with all this, at first we thought of putting it all in a shipping container but where to put the container ? and what happens with all the fabrics etc , a shame that they are not in use. so A company called Merom- Dolphin togger with Plasan Sasa the company I do work for suggested that they take on Smamit ,Merom- Dolphin Make Army Gear but are interested in making Civilian packs and seeing how it works and Plasan is interested in the old gear I have for R&D , So between them and trowing out lots of junk Help from My friends Yuval,Hnoch and Joe they cleaned up the workshop which is far cleaner than how we got it back in '97 Joe made an Photo album of the workshop before the work started to remind us how it looked. Smamit will Continue being made and sold by Merom - Dolphin ,This web site will be part of it ,This Blog may be part of it .
