Military Kit is made to do a job, a bloody hard job!

Most equipment has to interact with each other, webbing with a rucksack, a vest over a flack jacket , bulky heavy equipment that needs to be used quickly.

So when you think of what type of rucksack, vest or other gear you are going to order think about your needs and how it works with your other equipment.

Smamit make different types of rucksacks & load bearing equipment for different uses and that are compatible with other army's e.g.; The rucksacks, webbing and vests than are British army PLCE compatible  have PLCE written next to them.

I've being designing and making packs since 1979 and military vests and packs since 1989 , While doing my national service in a sniper unit in the Para's , IDF, I made the packs and gear that we needed to carry our gear.
later after my demob I went back in to the army for a year to design and make gear .

Materials
The Packs and vests are made of UK MOD Spec1000 Denier Cordura ,Olive Drab ,DPM & Desert DPM
Mil-spec Nylon webbing , ITW IRR Nexus Buckles ,YKK RC Zippers ,
Nylon Icabond 40# Tread and 7075-T6 Alloy for the packs.

Construction
Magazine Pouches are made of 2 layers of Cordura
Velcro is sewn with female side on the lids so it can be more easily replaced.
Every pouch has drain hole and a lanyard hole or D-ring where needed.
Every part is sewn 2-4 times and made to last.
